We have over 22 years experience in the printing industry and as Ellis Consultancy have been importing from the Far and Middle East for over 9 years.
We currently work with factories in Hong Kong, China and Dubai, all of which have gained ISO 9001 accreditation and in addition have been personally inspected by ourselves.
We have at our disposal over 1000 staff, more than 20 B1 and B2 printing machines including 2, 8 and 10 colour perfectors plus Web and variable data digital machines. All of the factories have in house finishing including case binding, section sewing, wiro and perfect binding, spot uv, lamination and foil blocking. They also have large handworking departments for the more complicated jobs. This has a huge advantage over printing in the UK, not only from a cost point of view but also a logistical perspective as flat sheets don't have to be transported between various sites for finishing. We also offer reel based flexo label printing and retail style bag manufacture.
In addition we have short and long run t-shirt printing lines and as Ellis consultancy provide a full design, pattern cutting and clothing production facitlty.
As the industry in the Far East has become more established, so has the technology and skills. The equipment is now mostly European including Heidelberg and Roland print machines and Muller Martini binding lines which gives the quality you have come to expect. Digital proofs are provided before each job and a full set of running sheets for final approval before finishing. We are in the Far East on a regular basis to inspect work on press which gives you the assurance we are serious about the service we offer.
